Do you want to know what Messi’s new mansion looks like?

No, we are not Ibai Llanos, so we have not been able to get the Argentinean star to invite us to his house. But we can show you some of the mansions he visited before deciding on one of them.

Messi arrived in Paris in mid-August with his wife and three children. The footballer and his family stayed in one of the suites at the Royal Monceau while looking for a long-term rental in residential areas near the Parc des Princes, PSG’s stadium. The family expected to find the same home-like features they were used to living in Barcelona, including a swimming pool, a rare amenity in Paris, even in the high-end segment. Apparently, the footballer finally settled in Neuilly-sur-Seine, one of the exclusive residential areas near Paris, where they have rented a house at the price of 20,000 euros per month. Located to the west of the city, Neuilly is composed of quiet residential neighborhoods, a few corporate headquarters and a handful of foreign embassies.

Before deciding, the family was visiting properties in the 16th arrondissement (near the Parc des Princes), Neuilly-sur-Seine and Yvelines (the area west of Paris, near the Palace of Versailles). The house in Neuilly-sur-Seine has a covered swimming pool of 54 m2 and a large terrace of 56 m2 facing a private garden. The property has six bedrooms, including a master suite with fireplace. There is also a hammam, a yoga relaxation room and a gym.

The property in the 16th arrondissement is a contemporary Le Corbusier-style mansion with 1000 m2 of meticulously designed living space and large windows that reach the ceiling and open onto landscaped terraces, spectacular gardens and water fountains. The house also has a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Paris.

The house in Triel-Sur-Seine (Yvelines), more modern, is located right on the banks of the Seine, with beautiful views of the river. The residence has 500 m2 and six rooms, with an additional 250 m2 of terrace and a garden of 1564 m2.

We don’t know for sure which one he will be keeping, but what is certain is that, whichever one it is, he will have plenty of room for barbecues.

We can’t offer you mansions like Messi’s, but if you’re reading this and you’re not a famous soccer player, we may have just the house you’re looking for. Check it out here.
